Court Approves $9.5 Million Data Privacy Settlement in Class Action Against KSE Sportsman Media

A federal court in has granted final approval to a $9.5 million settlement in a class action against KSE Sportsman Media, Inc. for allegedly disclosing the personal information of its magazine subscribers to third parties in violation of Michigan law. Each of the approximately 14,500 class members will receive an automatic cash payment of approximately $420, without having to submit a claim form.
