A federal court has granted final approval to an all-cash, non-reversionary $100 million settlement of a class action alleging that Google LLC violated Illinois’ Biometric Information Privacy Act by collecting and storing biometric data of Illinois residents who appeared in photographs stored on the “Google Photos” service.
