A federal court has granted final approval to a $1 million settlement in a class action against Charter Financial Publishing Network, Inc. for allegedly disclosing the personal information of Financial Advisor magazine subscribers to third parties in violation of Michigan law. Each of the approximately 2,160 class members will receive an automatic cash payment of approximately $265, without having to submit a claim form.
