A federal court in California has granted preliminary approval to a $1.2 million settlement in a class action against 800-Flowers, Inc. for allegedly improperly charging auto-renewal fees to its customers in violation of California law. If finally approved by the court, all class members will automatically receive a cash payment, without having to submit a claim form.
